Born & raised in Brooklyn, NY, Chef Alana has been cooking since she was old enough to hold a spoon & pull a chair to the stove. Growing up in a family of avid bakers and caterers, pursuing her cooking on a professional level was a natural transition. Chef Alana cut her teeth in the industry at premier restaurants and catering facilities in both NYC & Miami. As a classically trained chef, Chef Alana's Caribbean heritage & love of travel exposed her to many different cultures & played a significant role in every menu she creates. Her approach to food starts first and foremost with fresh, high-quality, and in-season ingredients. She marries inspiration, bold flavors & techniques from many cuisines to produce truly unique spins on classic comfort favorites.
